Nor does the Bible say this.

In fact, the model of "accepting" Jesus Christ as "personal Lord" and Saviour is one that doesn't exist in the Bible, and is in fact a recent invention among "Bible-only" Christians.

What Jesus DOES clearly say is that "NOT everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven but ONLY those who DO the will of my Father in heaven.

So trust your common sense! The Ten Commandments are NOT optional for salvation, although it is a trendy thing for American Christians to believe. Natural law is still written in our hearts.... and so are the words of Our Lord who said that "he who KEEPS my COMMANDS remains in me and I in him."
