My testimony
to the World

By Sister Kara Tolman

My testimony to the world is that it is never too late to gain a testimony. Here I am a missionary, and I remember that before my mission I didn't even know about who Joseph Smith was. Sure he was a prophet, and sure the Book of Mormon was translated by him, but what about the Why, Where, and When. Is it really true?

It is all true. I just as everyone else who wants to know, needed to pray. In the beginning my prayers were bouncing off the ceiling. But as I had experiences, (and I had to ask for the experiences), my testimony grew. I know my Heavenly Father lives. I know He created this plan of "Happiness" for all of us. He did it because he loves us and wants us to grow and become like Him. I'm grateful to be a part of this plan. I know Jesus Christ died for me. He loves me and all of you! He lives. He lives again. He wants us to always remember what he did for us, so that we will change our lives. I love Him so very much. I love the Bible and the Book of Mormon, because they teach me about my Savior. I know that Joseph Smith was called of God and translated those ancient scriptures of the Book of Mormon. I know that President Hinkley and all the other Prophets were called of God. I love this gospel and all the knowledge I have gained through the Holy Ghost. It's great, it's exciting, it's wonderful, it's our salvation. "Celestial Kingdom", here (I) we come. Are you coming? Prepare now. Gain a testimony. It will come. I know it will.

I leave this with you in great faith and in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
