I feel that my testimony is a very important part of my life. I can say that I know that God is our Heavenly Father and that He loves all of us way more then we can ever realize. Because He loves us he has provided a savior for us so that we can be forgiven our mistakes as we learn to understand and live the way He lives in the Celestial Kingdom. This savior is Jesus Christ. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) I learned this from the bible when I was a young child.

When I joined the Church one of the first things I did was ask Heavenly Father how Jesus Christ fit into the Gospel. I was called to teach the 8 year old children in Primary about the life of Jesus Christ and by doing the studying and praying for this class I gained a firm testimony of Jesus Christ and his being our Savior and why that is important. Over the years of teaching classes in Primary, Relief Society, and Sunday School I have gained a firm testimony of all the facets of the Gospel. Each is very important and is a part of a whole that is like a beautiful diamond that has been cut and polished to perfection.

I want to be part of that and make a difference in peoples lives by teaching the things I have learned over the years. The Love God has for us, the place in that love that Jesus holds and his place as our savior, our own possible growth in both love and grace and being able to be like them if we stand steadfast and endure to the end in righteousness. Serving a mission is just one way for us to do the work of the kingdom. I am very happy that at this time in my life I can go and serve a full-time mission. I will strive to do my very best for the Lord just as I have in each calling I have received in the church from the time I was called as a Reverence Mother in Primary in Torrance, CA to my last calling as Gospel Doctrine Teacher in Sunday School in the Puget Sound Branch in Lynnwood WA.
